This week, we got into the festive spirit with our annual Christmas Bingo Badminton event – and what a night it was! 🎄🏸 Players were randomly paired up to compete in two fabulously festive competitions: the Jingle Bell Ball and the Snowflake Shield. While there wasn’t any actual bingo (perhaps we need to reconsider the name for next year!), there were plenty of bonus points up for grabs for Christmas attire.

⭐ 3 points for a full-blown costume!
The costumes added a sprinkle of magic to the evening – have you ever seen a Penguin face off against a Candy Cane in a badminton quarterfinal? No? Neither had we… until Thursday! A true first for Haverfordwest Badminton Club – and possibly the world of badminton!
The night was all about having a laugh, spreading Christmas cheer, and, of course, playing a bit of badminton. It was fantastic to see everyone embracing the fun and festive vibes. Thank you to the incredible 48 players who joined us – your enthusiasm shows just how popular badminton is becoming in Pembrokeshire.
A huge thank-you goes to everyone who played with such great sportsmanship, especially our seasoned players who made sure to keep it fun for the newer ones. No smashing at beginners – phew! For many, it was their first taste of tournament badminton, and it was brilliant to see everyone enjoying the games in the spirit they were intended.
We also held a Christmas raffle, raising over £170 for the club. A massive shout-out to Sharon for her efforts – what a star! 🌟
